On March 5th, my mom turned 60! She wore this crown and sash most of the day, even to preschool and to a visit to her parents!
We celebrated with dinner at the McC's and birthday brownies.
The kids all wrote her note/card - with things they like about Grandma. It was kind of an ordeal getting everyone to line up by age - but we got her done. Ya gotta love Sam's expressions.

uhhh...i'm a bit partial to max's expression if i do say so myself. i'm also empathizing with lily. having grown up with a poopton of boy cousins...we have a lot of "which of these does not belong/which of these is girlier than the others" pictures.
I'm adopting the word "poopton"
Lining up in order by age is hard for our family too. We haven't figured out how to keep their attention while we get them in order.
