Day 2

Day 2 started out like any other ordinary vacation day - with a big bag of extra long twizzlers.



Then it was off to the Wildlife Safari Ranch:

checking our mirrors, to make sure everyone's ready for the adventure:





For the most part we saw a lot of lethargic animals, too hot to get out of the shade and move. But there were a few interesting moments:








Girls Night - Damon took the boys out to the Cole's and I joined them all later. We went to a tex mex place with Dana (Emily's new roommate) and Jen (Charlotte joined us later):

Here we are enjoying a mariachi band - well at least some of us enjoyed it. Some of us were battling an irrational fear...



We may need to slowly acclimate Jen to the wonders of mariachi, so I propose that over the next several weeks we get some mariachi bands to randomly show up wherever she is and serenade her, until eventually her tears of horror turn into tears of joy. This may also involve a viewing of the three amigos, but I'm not sure.
